My wiggle dress has exceeded all my expectations...it is fantastic! I figured out my Gertie sizing (8 in the shoulders, arms and upper bust, six in the waist, four in the hips) and blammo! Lets just say I'm working a major Joan look. The fabric even has blue roses which was a major style theme for Joan last season.
Speaking of fabric my selection for this dress is a vintage cotton that screams, "grandmother's sofa." I guess you've got to work with what you love.
Big reveal tomorrow...if i have time to finish this thing! But meanwhile a peek at the gussets (possibly the least alluring word ever coined).

you're inspiring me all over the place, i'm making a BURDA coat (nowhere near as tailored as yours) and now i want to revisit my wiggle dress. i am in love with that print, but you knew that, right??
I do so love a teaser photo - maybe not so much a gusset, although this one does look rather lovely!!!
I am very impressed by the matching flower print..!
You're such a tease. Can't wait for the reveal.
